• Provided input to the districts STEM administrator for the area of information technology. The input was used to set course offerings for the school district high school courses being offered at the CTech facility as a post-secondary high school offering.

Future Facilities Task Force, 2005, 2009, 2018

• Provided input to the school district on future facility needs.  Reviewed current school district facility usage, class size projections, maintenance department needs, etc
• Co-chair of the 2009 task force

Willow Creek PTSA

• President for the 2012/2013 school year.  Was recruited for the position.

• Brought in for key Rochester Public School employee interviewing panels

STEM Committee

• Committee chair, January 2009 – December 2013
• Organizes an annual STEM summit
  • Over 60 business exhibits in 2013
  • Over 2400 students attended in 2013
  • Event is still a key chamber event for workforce development today

Hosted the 2010, 2011, 2012 FIRST LEGO League tournament

• FLL tournament ran until 2020 independent of the RACC
• Attended state level meetings for STEM outreach across Minnesota

Considered the community expert in the area of STEM outreach

• Personally recruited to serve on the board of directors by the foundation’s Executive Director based on her experience with me and my leadership skills.
• Wrote policy for the foundation in the area of fiscal responsibilities as it relates to outside organizations requesting fiscal agent / sponsorship

Tournament Director, January 2010 – 2020

• Brought to Rochester the FIRST LEGO League tournament in 2010.
• As the Tournament Director it is my responsibility to organize the entire event
  • Handle the budget, recruit the volunteers (approxiately 40), communication with everyone, work with the venue, run the event during the event

Mission: The Rochester Area Math Science Partnership is a non-profit organization that supports and enhances area K-12 public and private school science and math (STEM) education through collaboration and offerings that will benefit teachers, students, and our communities.

• Personally recruited by Mayo Clinic HR Recruitment Strategies to be part of the RAMSP organization, specifically on the STEM Committee as a representative of Mayo Clinic
